Here are some interesting tidbits that get beneath my copywriting persona and veneer. Since my name is so frequently misspelled, mispronounced or relegated to the end of another word, I've decided to call these little factoids "Ianisms." I figured this was a great opportunity to give those three measly letters a more heroic role. So read and enjoy.

I can curl my toes like a ballet dancer, jump up in the air and land on them without breaking anything. People used to think I was child star Mason Reese (known for appearing in Underwood Deviled Ham commercials). People today think I'm actor Andy Dick from the show News Radio. I've even been asked for an autograph.
I've seen the Grateful Dead perform in 9 states in excess of 80 times. Without ever having worn patchouli. I won the Pinewood Derby (a model car racing event) as a boy scout after my 5th grade teacher told me to grease my wheels with graphite. I've never as of yet attempted to write, sell or take credit for someone else's screenplay.
My college nickname is e-love which is still what friends call me. For years I had an irrational fear of killer bees and tidal waves. In little league, the only contact I ever made with the ball was when it hit me.
When I was 12, my friend's mother walked in on me while I was in her room trying on her bra. I've run 15 full marathons (including New York & Boston) and have lost in excess of 25 toenails (from multiple toes) in the process.
